Platform agnostic

OnSight is purposefully designed as a platform-agnostic tool that seamlessly connects to multiple devices, so our solutions aren't limited to specific software or hardware. As a member of the Motorola Solutions Application Developer Program, we also have exclusive access to tools and equipment to build and integrate solutions.

Customer-driven development

As each client brings new challenges to Calo, OnSight is adapted to their needs. The functionality and flexibility built into the tool provides a solid base to build on as we develop solutions. When the solutions we build are broad enough the developments are included as a feature and integrated into the platform.

OnSight has been used to create solutions for proximity detection, people and asset tracking, remote sensor monitoring and more. Utilising standard frameworks, including Bluetooth, WiFi, LoRa, NB-IoT, SigFox, Satellite, iOS, Android, Mac and PC, means OnSight has the functionality and depth to be adapted to the existing systems used by any organisation.

Staying safe and operational during COVID-19

In March 2020 New Zealand went into the first COVID-19 lockdown and organisations needed to establish systems to operate safely. The greatest COVID-19 management tool available at the time was social distancing and contact tracing - both new concepts for the business safety landscape in New Zealand. Downer NZ took proactive action and approached OnSight* to build an app to support safe operations and help essential employees maintain social distancing.
